Shauna began her yoga practice in 1998, studying with many wonderful teachers (including Lora Ziemba and Sheri Boyle). Searching for a way to deepen her own practice, and a desire to share the many benefits of yoga with others, Shauna completed several trainings and certifications including, Finding Inner Peace, Yogafit, and Radiant Child Yoga Program.
Amanda Giacomini is an internationally recognized yoga teacher, artist and illustrator. As a yogini, she began her studies over twenty years ago with Indian aster Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in India and San Francisco teacher Larry Schultz. At age 25, during her first yoga teacher training she met her husband, Nicholas, who would later become known as the yoga hip-hop artist MC Yogi.
Caitlin is a mother, yoga teacher, writer, massage therapist, breast cancer survivor and manager of The Yoga Room on Nantucket Island. She is the creator of Strong Girls Yoga a curriculum for tweens and teens, committed to providing Nantucket’s young women with a safe environment to cultivate confidence, self-esteem, mindfulness and peace.
