She marched with Mahatma Gandhi – twice – and was part of the French Resistance.

She modeled for Coco Chanel and Jeanne Lanvin.

She took up ballroom dancing at 87 – and won over 700 first-place awards.

And she’s coming to Love Yoga Fest Cape Cod!

If ever there was living proof of the benefits of adopting a life-long yoga practice, Tao Porchon-Lynch is it. This extraordinary 96-years-young yoga grand master radiates vibrancy and inspires joy simply with her presence! Her philosophy? “There is nothing we cannot do if we harness the power within us.”

Tao has trained and certified hundreds of yoga instructors, since founding the Westchester Institute of Yoga (in New York State) in 1982. She has over 70 years of yoga practice and more than 40 years of teaching yoga to students in India, France and the U.S. Named The Oldest Living Yoga Teacher by the Guinness Book of World Records, Tao is the author of Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master.

In August, Tao joins Love Yoga Fest Cape Cod for two unique workshops open to all levels. In her class “Aging Gracefully,” Tao will use breath work and movement to help us explore the rich potential of the body to renew, heal and revitalize, as well as lead us through a deeply absorbing meditation. Become aware of and learn to control the energy that invigorates your life in “The Eternal Energy of Yoga: Understanding the Chakras.” This workshop will allow you to witness first-hand the amazing power a dedicated yoga practice has to improve and increase the vitality of your life.

We are thrilled to share with you this opportunity to experience the gifts of a very special teacher! Here is a preview of Tao’s wisdom and energy to inspire you to join us.
