Michelle Itzkowitz

Yoga and meditation have been a part of my life for over 25 years and has been the saving grace through many of life's challenging experiences. I use my knowledge and growth to inspire students to continue pushing forward, and believe in the strength and beauty of every moment and every breath of every day. Yoga inspires me to meet each moment with mindfulness and to cultivate happiness and joy with whomever I meet.


My studies in yoga and nutrition started over 30 years ago, when I became vegetarian and concerned with the humane treatment of animals. I dove into educating myself in many areas of wellness, including over 2000 hours of formal yoga teacher training as well as culinary school to adapt classical cooking to a healthier approach to eating. After graduate school and teaching health, family consumer science and physical education, I realized that my impact on changing the world was greater and opened innerglow yoga. The studios and school are my life's work. I teach public and private yoga classes, public and private cooking classes, one on one coaching to live your best life and continue to learn and grow from everyone I meet. I live life as a student first and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared. Let's grow together.
